Summer is a wonderful time. Longer days and some much needed change of pace. We are outside more and hopefully enjoying time with family and time off.
However, that freedom and relaxed schedule also means that we sometimes struggle to stay in routine for our self-care practices. Gyms and yoga studios alike frequently experience summer slow downs.
Early-morning exercise maybe loses out to lazier mornings, and you would prefer a later evening class. OR maybe you want earlier morning workouts because the after work yoga class now feels like it eats into your evening enjoyment. OR traveling to enjoy some time off takes you out of town for your normal class.
There’s nothing wrong with lazier mornings (I am great at those) or at running straight from work to be outside and enjoy the weather. It’s when we start to lose the progress we made and notice the impacts. We want to enjoy summer and still feel good! So how can we still be accountable to our goals while still fully embracing the summer season?
Take your practice outside. Grab your tablet/phone and mat, and enjoy our class in a new spot.
Grab an accountability partner who will be waiting for you (even waiting virtually) so that it only requires one of you to be motivated each time.

Summer 2020 Special:
Same drop in class rate for my public classes — $5. BUT that $5 also gives you three-day access to the raw recording of the class. You can enjoy the class whenever you like in that three-day window. You can join in live with the class and then enjoy the flow again the next day or the next.
Even if you can’t join the class live, you don’t have to miss out. You can pay your drop-in rate and acquire the link. You can pay before class or even the next day.
It is my hope that this gives you flexibility but also holds you accountable. Your schedule MIGHT be different in the summer, BUT you don’t have to make the live class. You can still get your yoga in!
This applies to Monday 5:30 pm Sculpt, Wednesday 5:30 pm Vinyasa, and Saturday 9 am Vinyasa.
