I was working on brainstorming resolutions for the year a few days ago and decided that instead of just planning the end results I would like to see I needed to plan the path as well and plan for hiccups and obstacles and missteps. I teach Hope Theory to my Composition students, and I realized that Hope Theory is a great match for pursuing New Year’s Resolutions. I also have recently read the book Atomic Habits, and some elements of that book so nicely connected with what I was working on and thinking about.
SOOOO – I made a workbook to share you with you and did a fairly lengthy Facebook Live discussing the elements of pursuit that I am going to use and hope could be useful for you as well. I hope you watch the video and download the workbook and have some time in the next few days to plan your resolutions and think about paths and obstacles and benchmarks and 1% improvements.
Check in – send me an email or drop a comment on the video page. Let me know your thoughts and how it is going.
Happy New Year! Happy New Decade!
2020 is going to be a great year
