What’s the Average of Your Community?

Lots of things impact our day, but those we surround ourselves with can have a bigger impact over the long term than maybe we assume or anticipate.

This video discusses the quote “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with” that I believe should be attributed to John Rohn, a motivational speaker, even though I hear it regularly on a podcast I listen (Entrepreneurs on Fire) to as how he ends each episode.

Thinking about our communities in all their shapes and sizes and venues — how can we help make them more positive, challenging, motivating, inspiring? What do we need to do to raise the average of our communities?
