Probably all of us are guilty of spending too much time hunched over our computers at work or other devices at work and at home. Think about the last time you were in a restaurant and walked by others having dinner to be led to your table — how many people were hunched over and rounded in their shoulders?
Yoga to the rescue!
Having a consistent, regular yoga practice will naturally help your posture and opening the chest and shoulders. But there are also some stretches and practices you can do specifically for this concern and to help keep your posture upright.
A few of my favorite stretches are below. These videos will show you the stretches and also a few tips to get the most out of the stretch. These are great stand-alone stretches and can be done at your desk as a quick stretch break or at the end of the day or even to help you start the day!
Try these out and let me know what you think.
